Get to know the editors
Hello! I’m Chi Wing, one of your 2025 Editors of Purely Dicta! I’m a third-year JD student interested in legal storytelling, and I’m excited to bring to life more than just a magazine, but a space for students to share their voices and experiences at law school! I’ll also be contributing pieces on law and life around campus. Outside of law, I love exploring different cute cafes and restaurants and taking nice walks. I hope to see you around the law school! Don’t hesitate to stop by and have a chat – you might find your story featured!
Hello! I’m Johnny – one of your 2025 Editors of Purely Dicta! My main motivation for joining Purely Dicta is my love of writing and literature. To me, stories transcend mere narratives; they are deep reflections of our identity, personhood and experiences. As an editor, I hope to transform Purely Dicta into a vehicle through which students feel confident to share their musings and reflections on the world around them, be it within the legal, cultural, intellectual or social realm. In my free time, I love to brush up on my French, have a hit of tennis, and play with Donatella, my 2-year-old Shih Tzu. I look forward to meeting many of you, and discovering the unique stories you have to share.
