Purely Dicta is the Melbourne Law Students’ Society magazine.

The magazine is divided into two sections:

Both of which aim to explore, discuss and highlight the vibrant student community at the Law School in addition to comtemporary legal issues in the media.

Purely Dicta and the Law Student Society are located in the City of Melbourne, on the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We pay our respects to their elders — past, present, and emerging — and acknowledge that the land we are on was stolen. We acknowledge that First Nations peoples have historically been and continue to be mistreated, misrepresented and marginalised by media. As such, we make it our goal to amplify Indigenous voices and examine the space our own voices are taking up. We would like to also extend our acknowledgements to the First Nations students in the University community. This always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
