Purely Dicta Article Competition

We are excited to launch the first ever Purely Dicta Article Prize!

Purely Dicta invites all the sharp students of MLS to put pen to paper and write on a broad spectrum of topics encompassing law, current affairs, politics, and philosophy. This prize seeks to uncover fresh perspectives and innovative arguments on topical issues.

Please bear in mind that you will be writing an article for readership by our MLS community, and we are looking for interesting, engaging articles that will grab your fellow students’ attention.

The competition opens on 5PM Wednesday 20th March 2024 and closes on 5PM Sunday 21st April 2024.

Accordingly, the top three essays (judged by us!) will be published on Purely Dicta in conjunction with the following cash prizes:

1st place – $250; 2nd place – $100; 3rd place – $50

Guidelines and requirements for the article:

– 500-750 word limit;

– Topic is based on an issue of relevance to the law;

– Written entirely by a MULSS member or members (you)

– Standard citation and originality practices

– Email your article to us at purelydicta@mulss.com – ensuring the subject is as follows: Your Name – PD Article Competition.
